Welcome to today's podcast: To Do List Series: Method 3 with Ryan Jackson. Ryan thinks that by doing a to-do list you take ownership of smaller, more mundane items that are less important but you do them so that you can have the satisfaction of ticking them off. While the bigger, higher priority things get left because they're not so easy to tick off. Especially if you run your own business, you should avoid getting bogged down in detail and should delegate in order to up productivity. Ryan advises: focus your time to key themes and stick to them so that you aren't constantly shifting your attention and scattering your concentration; prioritise the job on your to do list that you least want to do; know when you're most productive - is it first thing in the morning or evening for example?
